Keeping things fresh

With Mark Stanbury

2020 was on its way, so it was time to trade up and keep the fleet looking dialled.

I drive a lot for work, up and down the country and back again, with a truck full of cameras, lights and often bikes as well. I can’t run the risk of not arriving on time and ready to go when I’m working for a client, so I need to know my transport is reliable.

Previously, I had the older Holden Colorado, and had such a great run with it that I went straight for the new version of the same truck. I’m super happy with the new one.

With the new one though, it was time for a decal refresh, and I went back to my go-to signwriter Mark Stanbury of Make Your Mark Signage, he did a great job with the old truck, so I didn’t hesitate in getting him to sort out the new one as well, and he knocked this one out of the park.

It ended up looking better than I could have expected, Mark’s experience and eye-for-detail are clear when you look at how he managed to take the old design and create the new one, making sure I was stoked along the way. His application was next level, making sure such a unique design looked correct on both sides of the vehicle.

Yakima have jumped onboard once again and helped me out with the bike carrying solutions. A GateKeeper for the tailpad, and a Hangover on its way for when you have a tray load of gear, a truckload of people and a pile of bikes.

Check out some before/after/in-between images from the old truck getting de-stickered to the new truck before and after.

Keep an eye out for me on the road!
